Amsterdam

Hi all, it seems we got out of Cairo at the right time. We spent Saturday afternoon at the square (picture) where the bombing was on Sunday! From Cairo we arrived in Amsterdam early Sunday morning and spent the day in the city. We visited the Anne Frank museum - worth a visit. We also went to the Van Gogh Museum, although we were very tired by then, it was a excellent exhibition. It included Starry Night, The Potato Eaters, Sunflowers and The Irises. We arrived home in Cardiff about 10pm very tired.

Checkout the Egypt(more added) & Amsterdam albums.

Glad you are all safe and well, nothing like travel to sharpen the reflexes and jangle the nerves! Hope the Xmas weather continues to give you all that beautiful snow that you love so much. Poor Dave I don't think he has seen one rainy day (or one drop) since he got here! Anyway enjoy the next bit of term, unfortunately as you know we don't get time off for hot weather, having said that 140 schools closed tomorrow in expected fire danger areas (38 with blustery wind change), OK down here seo far. Bowls finals this week (double chance for me), Pies v Richmond tonite, Test Match also plus Victory in GF v Adelaide on Saturday. Thank God for Foxtel! Cheers to all. Gordo
