London - CardiffFrom St. Paul's, we hopped onto a Double decker bus (see pic) to Kings Cross Station and then the tube back to Euston.
As we headed for home it starting snowing! A minor wrong turn and a lot of icy windows and salt made the trip interesting on the way home. The pics here were about halfway back to Cardiff.

Hi Andy
Instead of going east travel west to Porthcawl - on the coast 25 miles west of Cardiff. The second best fish & chips in the UK can be found at Finnegans, 16 New Road, Porthcawl.
Good eating, Max
Actually Wains - you look as cold sitting in the bus as you did out on the street ! Get up close to the driver next time -- he is bound to be looking after himself.
Hi Andy, Kristin, Billy & Dec
great blogging!
Dick's pretty impressed that you compare him with Mr Schnabel
go back and see if they'll buy some of his stuff
what's the school like Andy? how are the studnets responding to your inimitable Aussie style?

Hi Andy,
Great to see your photos of London, Bath, etc.....brought back lots of memories from our LSL 2 years ago.
Sounds like you have settled in well. It's a terrific idea to keep an electronic diary of your trips and adventures. They will mean even more in months and years to come.
Well we are expecting 35 tomorrow, and 29 Tuesday. In to countdown mode with school only 1 week away!!!
The Aussies won the 2nd 50 overs game today, but the Vics lost their 20/20 bash yesterday to NSW and have to beat Qld now to have another crack at NSW for 20/20 champs.
On a very trivial front....Melb FC still have no major sponsor, are $2.5 Million in debt and have appointed 32 year old Junior McDonald as Captain!!
Could be another long year!!!????
Anyway, really nice to read your comments and to see some photos.
Enjoy the experience and will try to keep in touch via the e-mail system.
Regards,
David K
